CPS Limited was established in 2011 when Lafarge Gypsum Tanzania, a leading interior solutions provider in Tanzania, was looking for a reliable installer for its ceiling and partition systems based in Tanzania. However, when Lafarge Gypsum decided to close its operations in Tanzania, CPS took over Lafarge Gypsum Tanzania’s operations and became not only an installer but also a supplier of the interior solutions manufactured by Lafarge. Since then, CPS has evolved into a specialist in ceiling and partition systems, and has become a distributor of a comprehensive range of building solutions that includes: Construction Chemicals, Geotextiles, Roofs, Plumbing.

The aim of CPS is to be a chain of neighbourhood construction centres supplying tradesmen and contractors across a broad spectrum of the construction industry, with a focus on contractors undertaking civil projects and large buildings. The focus is on contractors building individual, mass and residential houses, conversions, additions and renovations of all sizes, hospitals and clinics, schools and maintenance work for industry and government in Tanzania.
